Communities leading restoration of East African Coastal Forest.

The East African Coastal Forests are located in Kenya, Somalia, Tanzania, and Mozambique, along the coastline of the Indian Ocean. This projects highlights the Kenyan communities involved in restoring the remaining patchwork of forest running through Kilifi County. The LEAF team travels to rural schools planting indigenous and fruit tree with children encouraging them to care for them during their time at school. At Pwani University they a restoring a 600-acre grounds through tree planting, education and sustainable livelihoods.
